The short version

Violet Budget does not collect your financial data. Everything you type into the app — balances, bills, expenses, goals and debts — is stored only on your own device, in your browser's local storage. We never see it.

What the app stores

The app saves your budget data and settings on your device so it can work offline. If you clear your browser data or uninstall the app, that data is deleted. You can export a backup file at any time from Settings; that file stays wherever you save it.

What we do not do

• We do not ask for bank logins or connect to your bank.
• We do not have user accounts or store your numbers on a server.
• The app contains no advertising and no tracking scripts.

Purchases

Payments are processed by our checkout provider (Whop). When you buy, they handle your name, email and payment details under their own privacy policy. We receive your email address and order details so we can deliver the app and answer support requests. We do not receive your full card number.

Website

Our website is hosted by a third-party provider that may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and reliability. The website (not the app) loads its font from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.
